Vintage Signage

These two signs are a block apart on Warwick Boulevard in Newport News, Virginia.  I adore them.  In my secret dreams, I want to gather a historic preservation group together and start serving home fries, grilled cheese, and sliders at the old diner once again.

Hall and Oates had an album when I was a kid called, "The Abandoned Luncheonette." I think of it every time I pass the Blue Star.
